It is my pleasure to recommend Lesley Novak's work on the portfolio assignment completed as part of her participation in the 2009 License to Wed professional workshop. I had the opportunity to get to know Lesley during this two-day workshop, presented by Ivy Robinson Weddings & Events in September of 2009. It was obvious from the moment the workshop began that Lesley was intensely professional in her approach to growing her business, BLUSH wedding & events. She was a model workshop participant, offering great opinions to the discussion, and sitting back to absorb and respect expert knowledge from the participating wedding professionals.
My opinion of her was further heightened when she completed an aesthetically stunning wedding proposal board as her assignment submission. Her design for her assigned couple was personal, understated, elegant, and thoughtful. She not only worked efficiently within her allowed budget and did excellent vendor research to arrive at her decisions, she took the time to find personal ways to get involved with the couple and bring their specific story to the forefront. Her work on the wedding proposal was so strong that I called upon Lesley to attend the following License to Wed workshop in February 2010 to share her work and take part in some of the training exercises designed for the workshop participants.
I know that Lesley has the organizational ability and design sensibilities to deliver beautiful, detail-rich weddings that will execute flawlessly under her command. It is my pleasure to recommend her for any project to which she applies.

As a new home owner I was looking forward to hosting my first party. Blush was able to organize everything exactly as I hoped. I was ecstatic with their services! The ladies were friendly,courteous and professional. They assisted with menu options, set-up for the evening and added that extra special touch with fresh cut flowers for a sparsely decorated home. My guests had a fabulous time and I enjoyed not having to run to the kitchen when the refreshments got low! I would highly recommend them for any party or events.
